Serbia strives to be recognized as a pillar of stability in the Western Balkans, guided by a responsible, independent, and open foreign policy, stated Serbian Foreign Minister Marko Djuric following his meeting with strategic and geopolitical analyst George Friedman.

Djuric wrote on the social media platform “X” that the conversation provided him with valuable insights into the evolving global landscape and the strategic positioning of the region within it.

“Serbia aims to be recognized as a pillar of stability in the Western Balkans, guided by our responsible, independent, and open foreign policy, grounded in the principles of peace, international law, mutual respect, and regional cooperation. The promotion and nurturing of good neighborly relations are the foundation of long-term economic growth and shared prosperity across the region,” Djuric wrote.

He added that in times of complex global realignments, Serbia’s constructive role and forward-looking vision are more important than ever.
