Djuric meets with Bocan-Kharchenko: Firm Russian support in international fora regarding Kosovo

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia, Marko Djuric, met today with the Ambassador of Russia to Belgrade, Aleksandr Bocan-Kharchenko, to discuss various areas of bilateral cooperation.

Djuric reiterated Serbia’s gratitude for Russia’s principled stance on the defense of Serbia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as its firm support in international fora concerning the issue of Kosovo.

Highlighting the cultural, spiritual, and historical ties between the two nations, the Serbian Foreign Minister expressed confidence that relations will be preserved and further developed in the spirit of traditionally close bonds.

Ambassador Bocan-Kharchenko presented Minister Djuric with a congratulatory message from Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on the occasion of his reappointment as Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia.
