Djuric with Ziadeh on the upcoming UN Security Council session: A period marked by Pristina’s unilateral actions

Serbian Minister of Foreign Affairs Marko Djuric met today with the Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General and Head of UNMIK, Caroline Ziadeh, to discuss the situation in Kosovo and the upcoming regular session of the UN Security Council on UNMIK’s work, scheduled for April.
During the meeting, Djuric noted that the six-month period covered by the latest report had been marked by "continued unilateral actions by Pristina against the Serbian people in Kosovo and Metohija and numerous incidents." He expressed his expectation that the new UNMIK report would address these issues in detail, according to the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Serbian Foreign Minister emphasized the importance of keeping UN Security Council sessions on UNMIK’s reports open to the public, because, as he emphasized, there is a need for the broader international audience to be informed about the challenges on the ground.
According to Djuric, Belgrade remains firmly committed to building peace and stability in Kosovo, while also acknowledging that the success of this process will largely depend on "who we will have as a dialogue partner from Pristina in the coming period."
Djuric also informed Ziadeh about Serbia’s position on the trilateral security cooperation agreement between Croatia, Albania, and Pristina. He warned that the agreement raises legitimate concerns and does not contribute to trust and stability in the region.
