Djuric thanked Brazil for principled support on the Kosovo issue

On the sidelines of the General Assembly of the Organization of American States, Minister of Foreign Affairs Marko Djuric met with the Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federative Republic of Brazil, Ambassador Maria Laura da Rocha.

According to the official statement, at the meeting held in Antigua and Barbuda, Minister Djuric stated that Serbia is committed to strengthening overall ties with Brazil, given that it is one of Serbia’s most important political and economic partners in Latin America.

The Serbian Foreign Minister specifically thanked Brazil for its principled support in preserving Serbia’s territorial integrity and informed his counterpart about the current situation and the position of the Serbian people in Kosovo.

The meeting also covered the strengthening of economic ties and the potential for more intensive investment cooperation.

On this occasion, Minister Djuric reiterated the invitation to Brazil to participate in the specialized EXPO 2027 exhibition and expressed hope that the country would confirm its participation in this prestigious event soon.
