Djuric: We do not forget the lessons of the past; we want to build the future

The Ambassador of Serbia to the United States of America, Marko Djuric, said that today we were marking 24 years since the saddest period in the 142-year-long history of Serbian-American relations.

In a post on Twitter, Djuric stated that we especially remembered the children who lost their lives.

"It is with particular sadness that we remember the 88 children who lost their lives, as well as the many thousands of civilian and military victims of NATO aggression. Not forgetting the lessons of the past, we are enthusiastically making an effort to build the present and a future that all the Serbs and Americans will be equally proud of." Djuric stated.
