Elek: Raskovic suffered multiple injuries, remains in intensive care
Director of the Kosovska Mitrovica Clinical Hospital Center Dr. Zlatan Elek told Kosovo Online that Nenad Raskovic sustained multiple injuries, including a fractured rib, and is in the intensive care unit because his condition is not stable.
Elek said that Raskovic was transported to the Kosovska Mitrovica Clinical Hospital Center last night from the Zubin Potok Health Center.
“Last night, at around 8 p.m., patient Nenad Raskovic was brought by ambulance from the Zubin Potok Health Center to the Kosovska Mitrovica Clinical Hospital Center. According to him, he was brutally beaten several times during the day yesterday by members of the Kosovo Police in his hometown of Dren, in Zubin Potok,” he said.
According to Elek, Raskovic has multiple injuries and is in intensive care.
“The patient was admitted with head and chest injuries, suffering from multiple trauma, and was placed in the intensive care unit, with a fracture of the ninth rib on the left side,” Elek said.
He added that a team of doctors is caring for the patient, who will remain in the intensive care unit.
“Given the extent of his injuries and the fact that he has sustained multiple trauma, a large number of doctors are involved in his treatment, an entire medical team, including surgeons, anesthesiologists, orthopedists, internists, given that his blood pressure is elevated, as well as psychiatrists and neurologists. He will remain in intensive care at the Kosovska Mitrovica Clinical Hospital Center, given that his condition is not stable,” Elek said in a statement for Kosovo Online.
Nenad Raskovic was visited today at the Kosovska Mitrovica Clinical Hospital Center by Zubin Potok Mayor Milos Perovic.
