Elek: The Serb List continues to be the backbone of gathering the Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija

At today's session of the Serb List Assembly held at the party's headquarters in Kosovska Mitrovica, Dr. Zlatan Elek was unanimously elected as the new President, according to a statement from the party.

As stated, Elek, who takes over as President from Goran Rakic, expressed his gratitude to the Serb List delegates for their support, trust, and the honor bestowed upon him.

He also thanked the former leadership of the Serb List for their dedication to advocating for the interests of the Serbs in extremely challenging circumstances.

As stated in the press release, Elek emphasized that "the Serb List will continue to be the backbone around which the Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija will gather in the future. All significant political decisions will be made in coordination with the official Belgrade, in the interest of all Serbs, while preserving the necessary unity".

At today's session, Dragan Milovic, Ivan Zaporoyac, Tanja Vujovic, Dragana Antonijevic, and Dalibor Jevtic were elected as vice presidents of the Serb List.

The following members were elected to the Serb List Presidency: Gordana Savic, Srdjan Popovic, Srdjan Vulovic, Nemanja Bisevac, Slavko Simic, Ivan Todosijevic, Verica Ceranic, Sinisa Lazic, and Sasa Milosevic.
