Serb List: EULEX uninterested in preventing harassment of Serbs, no sign of KFOR

The Serb List emphasizes that in the early morning hours, Kurti's special units, which are illegally present in northern Kosovo, brutally stormed the Clinical Hospital Center in North Mitrovica, and that, during this incident, they used excessive force and brutality to vandalize some of the premises, hindered the work of healthcare professionals, and intimidated patients receiving treatment at this facility.

Furthermore, the Serb List's statement points out that simultaneously with the intrusion into the Clinical Hospital Center Mitrovica, a brutal incursion occurred in several private properties in northern Kosovo. They add that they are still collecting data on these intrusions.

The statement explains that during the brutal actions of Kurti's special forces, the road leading to the kindergarten, the "Danica Jaramaz" preschool institution, and the "Saint Sava" Elementary School, was blocked and that teachers and caregivers couldn't reach their workplaces, children were terrified, and concerned parents couldn't take their children to kindergarten or school safely.

"It is evident that Kurti's regime is now using the tragic events in Banjska to justify its anti-Serbian actions in Kosovo and Metohija and to continue harassing our citizens. It should be noted that EULEX members followed all of these brutal intrusions from a distance of several tens of meters, showing no interest in preventing the mistreatment of the Serbian people or actively engaging to stop the unlawful actions of Kurti's special units. There was no sign of KFOR personnel during this uncivilized behavior," the statement emphasizes.

The Serb List calls on citizens to "maintain composure during these turbulent times and stand by their children, hoping that peace will prevail in this region someday and that Serbs will be able to lead a normal life, receive medical treatment without being frightened by heavily armed special forces, or be harassed on their way to kindergarten and school."

Additionally, the Serb List extends its appreciation to healthcare workers, caregivers, and teachers who bravely defended the rights of their patients and children.
