The European Union regrets that the Central Election Commission of Kosovo did not certify the candidates of the Serbian List and emphasizes that the certification process should be based on legal standards and procedures, not political considerations, as reported by Koha.

The European Union highlights that all qualified candidates must have the opportunity to participate in free and fair elections, in accordance with Kosovo's law and its equitable application.

"The certification process should be based on legal standards and procedures in accordance with the law, not on political considerations. The electoral process must be transparent, reliable, and free from political interference," the EU stated in its response.

The Union expects the CEC and its members to "use all applicable mechanisms to ensure a comprehensive, reliable, and transparent electoral process, allowing Kosovo voters to clearly express their choice."
