The European Union office in Kosovo confirmed for Kallxo that the decision of the Kosovo authorities to declare two organizations terrorist had not been coordinated with them, although yesterday the Minister of the Interior Xhelal Svecla said that they had coordinated with the allies, including the EU, regarding this issue.

In addition to the EU, today during the day the US State Department announced that the Kosovo government had not coordinated regarding the declaration of "Civil Protection" and "Northern Brigade" as terrorist organizations.

According to the US State Department, this decision had to be coordinated with Kosovo's closest partners.

The embassies of Germany and Great Britain in Pristina also denied Svecla’s statement, from where they also said that Berlin and London had not been consulted regarding this decision to declare terrorist organizations.

The government cabinet made a decision yesterday to declare the organizations "Civil Protection" and "Northern Brigade" as terrorist organizations.

Minister of Internal Affairs Xhelal Svecla said that they had coordinated with international partners for this decision.

"We are continuously coordinating with all our allies, sometimes we agree and sometimes we disagree. No doubt we have coordinated on this step," he said.
