Half of the citizens of Kosovo support the CSM formation, 58.4 percent support Kurti's approach to dialogue

The formation of the Community of Serbian Municipalities as a form of compromise is supported by 50.5 percent of Kosovo citizens. At the same time, 58.4 percent of citizens believe that Kurti has a good negotiating approach with Belgrade, reports RTV Dukagjini.

These are the results of a public opinion survey conducted by the agency UBO Konsalting from Pristina as part of the OMNIBUS program.

The survey is conducted every three months and was commissioned by RTV Dukagjini.

The representative sample consists of 1,066 respondents who were surveyed from December 16 to 23.

The results of the survey show that the formation of the Community of Serbian Municipalities as a form of compromise that would be accepted by the electorate in Kosovo is supported by 50.5 percent of Kosovo citizens, while 49.5 percent of citizens are in favor of redefining the borders with Serbia.

The executive director of TV Dukagjini, Ermal Panduri, who commissioned the research, said this evening on the show "Pet" that this research was done without the offered third option, explaining that political parties and the electorate in Kosovo are divided between these two solutions.

According to this survey, 58.4 percent of citizens believe that Kurti has a good negotiating approach with Belgrade, while 41.4 percent of those surveyed state that such an approach is inappropriate.

However, as many as 65.9 percent of respondents believe that Kurti's attitude towards negotiations is not enough for them not to vote for him again, while only 21.6 answered that this would be the reason why they would not vote for him.

12.5 percent of respondents did not answer or refused to answer this question.
