Haradinaj to Kurti: Resignations of the mayors instead of a petition - a message to allies that you are in favor of a solution

The President of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, called on the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, to stop the replacement of the mayors in four municipalities in the north through a petition and to continue with the new election process with the resignations of the presidents of those municipalities.

Haradinaj wrote on the social network "X", which until recently was Twitter, that with the resignation of the president of those municipalities, the allies of Kosovo would be convinced that the current Kosovo Government was in favor of a solution to the situation.

"Albin, stop the procedure of replacing the president of the municipalities in the northern municipalities with a petition. Continue with a new strategy, with the resignation of the mayors. That way the allies will be convinced that you are in favor of a solution and not for new crises in the north of the country," Haradinaj wrote.
