The president of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, assessed that Prime Minister Albin Kurti served the interests of Russia and Serbia for destabilizing the north and the region. According to him, this can be seen from the fact that Kurti refused to listen to the United States of America to delay the execution of the decision on license plates, Koha reports.

Haradinaj believes that if Kurti's decision had been postponed earlier, the situation in the north would not be the way it is now.

In a press release, Haradinaj emphasized that Kurti couldn’t be amnestied because of the situation in the north.

"Kosovo dare not allow gangs and crime to take control in the north. But it is imperative that Kosovo simultaneously judges its actions and the actions of its institutions. After all, Prime Minister Kurti, by refusing to follow the American path, is serving Russian and Serbian interests for destabilization of the north and the region," Haradinaj announced.

He expressed his belief that the USA and NATO would not allow such a thing and that normality would return to the north.

According to Haradinaj, after removing the consequences of the situation, all those who were involved in criminal acts in the north should receive the well-deserved punishment.

As he added, Kurti and the government should not take any step alone without coordination with partners the USA and the European Union.

"We cannot agree with Serbia without America's help and Albin Kurti must understand that," Haradinaj wrote.
