The head of UNMIK Ziadeh condemned the shooting in the north and stated that the suspects had been arrested

The Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations and the head of UNMIK, Caroline Ziadeh, condemned the shooting in the north of Kosovo on Monday evening, when, as she stated, one Kosovo Serb had been wounded, and noted that the policemen suspected of being involved in this incident had been arrested.

As stated in the post on the Twitter account of the UNMIK mission, Ziadeh also wished the wounded Milan Jovanovic a speedy recovery.

It was also stated that Ziadeh “had received the announcement from the Kosovo institutions that a thorough investigation would be launched", which, as stated, eas "key for justice, responsibility and the protection of human rights".

Ziadeh called, as stated, "responsible leadership to maintain peace and ensure the safety of all communities."
