The EU condemned the wounding of Jovanovic and demanded that those responsible be brought to justice

The European Union office in Pristina condemned the wounding of Milan Jovanovic at the Kosovo Police checkpoint near Zvecan and requested an investigation and arrest of those responsible for that incident.

"The EU in Kosovo condemns the security incident in which a Kosovo Serb was shot and injured last night nearby the Kosovo Police checkpoint at the Bistrica Bridge in Zvecan municipality. All relevant rule of law institutions now need to carry out a quick and thorough investigation and bring those responsible to justice", a post on Twitter of the EU Office in Pristina stated.
