The director of the Health Center in North Mitrovica, Miljana Nikolic, confirmed to Kosovo Online that a healthcare clinic in Suvi Do had been broken into in the morning hours. She explained that upon arriving at the scene, she had found broken bars and shattered window panes.

Nikolic emphasized that this was another in a series of attacks on this facility and that other clinics in surrounding villages were also targeted.

"In the morning hours, I was informed that the clinic in Suvi Do had been broken into again. We immediately went to see what was happening. We found broken bars and shattered glass. When we entered, we saw that nothing was touched. However, this is another in a series of attacks on this clinic and other clinics in rural areas," Nikolic said for Kosovo Online.

She highlighted that citizens, as well as clinic workers, were very disturbed, considering this was not the first attack on this healthcare unit. She reminded that the walls had been covered with symbols of the KLA and "intimidating messages" a few months ago.

This clinic, she said, is used not only by the surrounding Serbian residents but also by other citizens living in the area, including Albanians.

"We are in great fear and uncertainty about what will happen next because the attacks have intensified. A few months ago, the same clinic was targeted when 'KLA' and other intimidating messages were written over it. Glass and bars on the clinic have been broken several times, and we complained because it is, after all, a healthcare unit. I would ask all citizens not to destroy property and not to instill even more fear among the people," Nikolic urged.
