Vice President of the Kosovo Assembly from the ranks of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Enver Hoxhaj, has described the exclusion of Kosovo from the EU program Digital Europe as a humiliating failure of the Kurti government and a colossal victory for Serbia.

Hoxhaj stated on Facebook that, alongside Russia, the European Union had also sanctioned Kosovo.

"The exclusion of Kosovo from the EU program Digital Europe is a humiliating failure of the Kurti government and a colossal victory for Serbia. The European Union has sanctioned two countries, Russia last year and Kosovo yesterday," Hoxhaj wrote.

The European Commission has revoked Kosovo's invitation to join the Digital Europe EU program, which is one of the measures implemented by the EU, due to the refusal of the Kosovo authorities to fulfill the requirements for de-escalation in the north. The program provides participants, including Serbia, with access to 7.5 billion euros in funding.
