The Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo Assembly from the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Enver Hoxhaj, said today that he had been disappointed with the speech of the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, emphasizing that what they had been building since 2008 collapsed on November 5, Telegrafi reports.

Hoxhaj requested that a closed session be held with Kurti regarding the situation created in the north of Kosovo.

"I expected the Prime Minister of Kosovo not to start his speech by telling us what is written in the European Union's statement, but to give us complete information about what has happened in the north so far. I would have talked openly, seriously, and with more desire, on this topic in a closed session," Hoxhaj said.

Hoxhaj added that the situation in the north of Kosovo was at its lowest point in the last 20 years.

"It is not just a vacuum, but a political abyss where Kosovo municipalities are without mayors, police stations without policemen, judicial institutions without prosecutors and judges. You can say that the situation in the north is a black hole, or that it is a big political pit because currently there are neither state institutions nor a political process that would create them. I regret to say that November 5 is the worst moment in the modern history of the state of Kosovo. What we have been building since 2008 collapsed that night," Hoxhaj said.
