Former Kosovo Prime Minister Isa Mustafa said that the current government in Kosovo had no achievements, except for the praise that Prime Minister Albin Kurti gave himself, the Albanian Post reports.

Mustafa says that there is no realism in the projects of the Kosovo government and that there is a big delay in the international cooperation.

"We have the unpleasant and insufficient results in the field of education, in the field of health and in other fields. Now we are faced with inflation and we do not have adequate measures taken by this government against inflation or to mitigate the effects the citizens are faced with daily, i.e. very high prices and problems with unemployment," Mustafa stated in an interview with Siri TV.

He believes that Kurti is not able to fulfill the promises he made during the election campaign.

"I only see the failure to fulfill the promises that Mr. Kurti made during the campaigns, but also earlier as the leader of the opposition Self-Determination Movement," Mustafa says.

Mustafa pointed out that even the projects were continued from the previous period, while the government constantly boasts that it has accumulated a lot of money in the budget. This is not the merit of the current government.

"Thus, the Minister of Finance often declares in the Parliament, or when justifying the money, or brags that the collection of money is higher than it was in previous periods. But at no time do they show that the collection of money in the budget is also the result of price increases, because the basis for calculating VAT, the basis for calculating excise duty and other fiscal obligations also increases," Mustafa added.

He does not see that the promises made by the government are being fulfilled, he does not see appropriate changes in the field of economy or any economic policy that promotes economic development, increases employment and economic stability, which increases the confidence of citizens to stay in Kosovo and not to leave it.

According to him, there is no change in the rule of law, because everything that was criticized in the past governments in terms of nepotism, employment and politicization of work is still happening today.

"Even in a much more obvious way than before," Mustafa pointed out.
