Hyseni: If Kurti wishes to apply the law, why he doesn’t apply it to the Monastery Visoki Decani
Former Kosovo Foreign Minister Skender Hyseni harshly criticized President Vjosa Osmani and Prime Minister Albin Kurti for what he called inconsistency, Reporteri reports.
Hyseni compared the approach of Osmani to the head of EU diplomacy, Josep Borrell, who was accused by the Kosovo president of bias. He added that he did not agree with this attitude of President Osmani.
"That's how Milosevic called the whole world- Serbia's enemies. When the world had helped us, they said that the whole world was Serbia's enemy. That is how Vjosa Osmani said yesterday that the whole world is Kosovo's enemy and that it is on the Serbian side. That is not true at all ", Hyseni said for TV1.
Hyseni accused Kurti of inconsistency in policy-making and added that no one took him seriously anymore.
"The way he withdrew best shows that Albin Kurti does not have the political consistency to endure two days, not two months. This is a destructive policy and from now on I assure you that no one in the world will take Albin Kurti seriously," Hyseni said.
Hyseni added that Kurti should apply the rule of law he is referring to where necessary.
"If legality causes tensions and leads the situation to war and escalation, it should not be applied. If you want to apply the law, why don’t you apply the law to the Monastery Decani as well," Hyseni said.
