Italian Embassy: We are concerned about Kosovo Police actions in the North, they risk increasing tensions

The Italian Embassy in Kosovo has expressed concern over recent actions by the Kosovo Police in the north, warning that such operations risk escalating tensions.

“While we recognize the challenges in relations with Belgrade, we believe that a constructive and inclusive approach based on dialogue remains essential. Progress in the normalization of relations with Belgrade is crucial for Kosovo’s EU path, which we fully support,” the Embassy stated.

The Embassy also warned that such actions could negatively affect the daily lives of Kosovo Serbs and other non-majority communities and risk heightening tensions.
