Jevtic: We gathered because the pain forced us, it's time for the international community to put some sense in Kurti

The president of the Strpce municipality and the vice president of the Serb List, Dalibor Jevtic, said that the Serbs had gathered at the protest, because their suffering forced them.

"Stefan and Milos showed that they are brave and brave, because they did not lower their heads when they were shot at. This number of people shows our unity to those who wanted to expel us. Instead of celebrating Christmas in the traditional Orthodox way, we had to protest against shooting at Stefan and Milos. Why? Because they are Serbs," Jevtic asked.

Jevtic added that the result of politics in Pristina led to the fact that individuals think they can freely shoot Serbian children.

"That's why every Serbian head here is Stefan and Milos. And it is from here, from this place, that we are sending a message that we will not be scared away by those who shoot and those who try in different ways to expel us. We are sending a message of peace, that we want to be to each other. That's the message we send from every protest. Peace as the main message, it's clear who wants the opposite," said Jevtic.

He told the international community that it's time to "put sense in" Kosovo's Prime Minister Albin Kurti.

"That is why the message is to the representatives of the international community to reason with Albin Kurti, to stop attacking our children, as we said yesterday, we will not make your children slaves. Today we are not protesting only because of the shooting of our children, but to say that we will save them regardless of all challenges," Jevtic said.
