The president of the Serb List, Goran Rakic, said today at the protest in Strpce that the Serbs brought together by the heroic wounds of Stefan and Milos.

"We were brought together by the heroic wounds of Stefan and Milos from Strpce, but also Stefan from Klokot. The terror of the dictatorial regime of Albin Kurti continues. Kurti plays so hard thinking that the Serbs removed the barricades because they are afraid. If Stefan did not biw, who among us can do so and surrender," Rakic said.

Rakic added that these were difficult times, when there was a man in power in Pristina who was blinded by hatred.

"A man who cannot be negotiated with, and it was smart we did not support his government, because we knew that his policy would be based on the oppression of the Serbs. Personally, with my colleagues, when I was a minister, I pointed out that he had to stop harassing the Serbs, but in vain. His goal is to create such conditions that Serbs leave their homes. But my message is that we must not surrender," Rakic said.

Rakic added that Serbs from Kosovo were fighting through peaceful and democratic means.

"Our unity is the strongest means to resist the dictatorial regime of Albin Kurti. If we are united, we will win. There is no choice for us and it is easy for us. We have to stay and survive, as our ancestors stayed in much more difficult conditions. And for that we have the support of President Aleksandar Vucic," Rakic said.
