The mayor of Strpce, Dalibor Jevtic, announced that yesterday's and today's events in Velika Hoca had disturbed every Serb living in Kosovo and that Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti's problem was not someone's wine, but "the determination of Petrovic and other Serbs to stay in their hearths". He called on the international community to react and prevent Kurti's violence against Serbs.
"When an honorable Serbian family is turned into criminals, it is clear what kind of policy the current government in Pristina has. That is why we have to defend the honor and survival of the Petrovic family in Hoca! I call on the international community to react and prevent the violence that Kurti is carrying out against the Serbs," Jevtic said on Twitter.
As he added, the Petrovic family was a hospitable, hard-working family that lived from its work.
