Krasniqi: Tenders worth 78.5 million euros distributed by the Government of Kosovo to friends and relatives

The Chairman of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Memli Krasniqi, released a video today revealing alarming findings from the latest report by the European Commission on Kosovo. The report states that the Government of Kosovo has signed tender contracts amounting to 78 million and 560 thousand euros.

In a Facebook post, Krasniqi notes that the government, through negotiation procedures without formal procurement, eliminating competition, signed tenders worth 78 million and 560 thousand euros and awarded them to friends and relatives.

"78 million and 560 thousand euros is the amount of tenders signed during one year, supposedly given by the government to their friends and relatives—through negotiation procedures, without formal procurement, eliminating competition. Regression," Krasniqi wrote.
