Kosovan Prime Minister Albin Kurti stated that the report documenting the "cultural genocide committed by Serbia in Kosovo" also testifies to the systematic destruction of Kosovo's cultural heritage, and that Pristina is committed to truth and justice for what he refers to as all the crimes committed by genocidal Serbia.

"This report, produced by the State Commission appointed by the Government, proves the destruction of 1,784 monuments and 175 libraries, the destruction of 1.7 million Albanian books, the plundering of 3,724 artifacts and tens of thousands of archival documents, as well as the damage and theft of hundreds of works of art," Kurti said on Facebook, adding that Kosovo is dedicated to truth and justice "for all the crimes committed by genocidal Serbia."

Kosovo's Minister of Culture, Hajrulla Çeku, emphasized that during the war, in addition to numerous war crimes, "Serbia's genocidal project was also directed at Kosovo's cultural heritage."
