Kurti in the Parliament of Albania: We should be together more often

Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti called, at the joint session of the parliaments of Kosovo and Albania in Tirana, for the increase of cooperation between Albania and Kosovo and the involvement in each other's issues, but not for the interference with each other, Reporters reports.

Kurti said that the governments of Kosovo and Albania should not only meet on holidays but should work together more often and accept criticism from each other.

"Our region, culture, and economy are not feudal estates that belong to someone. We should be together more often, not only at celebrations. We need to share ideas and accept each other's criticism, to work together," Kurti said.

According to him, "our ancestors" fought for the home of all Albanians, open to friends who contribute to peace.

"Happy holiday to the sanctity of our national identity," Kurti said.

Kurti stated that in Kosovo they rejoiced at every success of Albania and its government and that Albania had taken great steps forward, and he added that he was sure that in Albania they were equally happy about the success of Kosovo.

"Now, let's work for the future, respect the past that makes the present and let’s walk together," Kurti says.
