Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti announced today that the government had instructed the Kosovo Cadastral Agency to implement the decision of the Constitutional Court regarding the land around the Visoki Decani Monastery.

During a government session, Kurti emphasized that the implementation of the Constitutional Court's decision opened up numerous opportunities for Kosovo, as reported by Gazeta Express.

"However, to achieve a much larger goal that we owe to the state and that opens up unprecedented possibilities, we must take a step forward cautiously and responsibly as an independent and sovereign state. That is why today we instructed the Kosovo Cadastral Agency to implement the decision of the Constitutional Court," Kurti stated.

It is worth recalling that the decision of the Constitutional Court of Kosovo to return the land to the Visoki Decani Monastery was made in 2016 but has not yet been implemented, leading to repeated criticism of Kosovo by the international community.
