Mayor of Leposavic did not go to the meeting with Hovenier, he is in the municipal building

Only Izmir Zeqiri and Ilir Peci, mayors of Zvecan and Zubin Potok from the ranks of the PDK, responded to the invitation of US Ambassador Jeffrey Hovenier for a meeting, while the newly appointed mayors from the north, from the ranks of the Self-Determination Movement, boycotted the meeting.

The mayor of Leposavic, Lulzim Hetemi, from the ranks of Self-Determination, did not attend the meeting.

He, along with Sali Ziba, a member of the Kosovo Assembly, entered the premises of the Leposavic municipality early in the morning.

US Ambassador Hovenier has not yet commented on the boycott of the meeting by the mayors from the ranks of the Self-Determination Movement.
