Dragisa Mijacic, the Coordinator of the National Convention on the European Union, stated that Albin Kurti had intentionally sent special forces to North Mitrovica, where another Serb was arrested today, in order to provoke unrest and loss of life.
Mijacic commented on today's tumultuous events in northern Kosovo on Twitter when, instead of accepting the demands for de-escalation, which included the withdrawal of the Kosovo police and the illegal Albanian mayors, Kurti continued with violent actions.
"A few moments after presenting his plan with five points to resolve the situation in the north, Kurti sent special forces to the center of North Mitrovica for an arrest, hoping to spark unrest and cause loss of human life. It's an already seen tactic, and it's fortunate that there was no conflict," Mijacic stated.
