Petkovic: Kurti arrests innocent Serbs; we demand immediate release of Rados and Dusan
Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Petar Petkovic, emphasizes that the photos and videos provide evidence that Rados Petrovic and Dusan Obrenovic were arrested prior to the outbreak of unrest in Zvecan, clearly indicating that Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti is persecuting and arresting innocent Serbs.
Petkovic wrote on Twitter that it had been a week since the Kosovo Police had "abducted" Petrovic and Obrenovic, despite the photos clearly showing them sitting peacefully at the time of the arrest.
"It’s been a week since Kurti’s police abducted Rados Petrovic and Dusan Obrenovic while they were sitting peacefully in front of the Zvecan municipal building! Photos and videos made that day clearly prove that Rados and Dusan were arrested prior to any riots in Zvecan," Petkovic stated.
Petkovic asked EU Special Representative Miroslav Lajcak and representatives of European institutions in Kosovo if they had seen irrefutable evidence, and he demanded an urgent response and the release of Petrovic and Obrenovic.
"It is obvious that Kurti is apprehending and persecuting innocent Serbs! Have you, Miroslav Lajcak, the Head of the OSCE Mission, Michael Davenport, the Head of the EULEX Mission, Lars-Gunnar Wigemark, and UNMIK, seen this unambiguous evidence? We demand immediate reaction and liberation of innocent Serbs Rados and Dusan," Petkovic added, along with a video showing the moment the two Serbs were arrested.
