DPK deputy and member of the Committee on Foreign Affairs Ariana Musliu-Shoshi said that Prime Minister Albin Kurti had to take into account the demands of the USA, EU and Quint regarding vehicle license plates, because Kosovo cannot move forward without friends, reports Ekonomia online.

"Deviating from the advice and demands of the USA, the EU and the Quint countries, precisely in the final phase, when the conclusion of the agreement between Kosovo and Serbia was expected, is a big mistake. Look at the situation we are in now. Not only are we being asked to abandon the decision on vehicle license plates, but also to establish the Community of Serb-majority Municipalities. This is a failure of the Kurti government," she said.

The MP adds that in this situation there is certainly a need for coordination between the Government and the opposition, for which, according to her, her party has always expressed readiness.

"In this situation, coordination between the Government and the opposition and harmonization of institutional action, as well as consultation with international partners, is necessary. DPK was always ready to openly and continuously communicate with the Government about the situation that arose in the northern part of the country," said Musliu-Shoshi.

She adds that as the opposition, they offered support to Prime Minister Albin Kurti, but it was never accepted.

"As the opposition, we were very calm, we did not criticize much, we gave a free hand to the Government of Kurti," said Musliu-Shoshi, adding that DPK will always be in favor of preserving sovereignty.
