Mustafa: Because of Kurti, I don't see a final agreement between Kosovo and Serbia not even in 10 years
Former Prime Minister of Kosovo Isa Mustafa told Gazeta Blic that Kosovo had turned into a security problem and that, thanks to the decisions of the current Government, he did not see a final agreement between Belgrade and Pristina not even in 10 years.
"In the ten-year 'horizon', I don't see a final agreement, all because of the irresponsibility of this Government. No one, not the US, not the EU, not even Great Britain, is talking about mutual recognition. Kosovo has now become a security problem," Mustafa said.
He points out that Kurti led Kosovo to sanctions, which burdens the implementation of the agreement
"Kurti introduced dialogue into the sanctions mechanisms. Now even the implementation of the Brussels and Ohrid agreements is burdened with sanctions. Kurti wants to resign and not implement the agreements, but the international community will not allow it. It is not only about measures to de-escalate the situation in the north but also about fulfilling the agreement that Kurti accepted on behalf of Kosovo," Mustafa said.
