North Mitrovica in the Association of Kosovo Municipalities

The Municipality of North Mitrovica was today unanimously admitted to the Association of Kosovo Municipalities, Reporteri reports.

The North Mitrovica Municipal Assembly, which after the recent local elections in which the Serbs did not participate, is led by Erden Atic from Self-Determination, voted on June 30 to join the Association of Kosovo Municipalities.

The Association of Kosovo Municipalities (AKM) was founded in 2001 as a non-profit organization, whose members are local self-government bodies, excluding municipalities with a Serb majority.
