Office for Kosovo and Metohija: Atic continues to act as an occupation administrator
After municipal inspectors today suspended the continuation of work on another residential building in North Mitrovica, the Office for Kosovo and Metohija announced that, as they say, the fake mayor Erden Atic continues to act like an occupation administrator, putting a padlock on projects, which aim to help socially vulnerable families, just because the future beneficiaries are the Serbs.
The Office reminds that, before the local government was usurped by "Albin Kurti's Gauleiters", the implementation of numerous important infrastructure projects, as well as projects with a pronounced social component, was underway.
"There is no rational reason for something from which the citizens have an unequivocal benefit to be banned by political diktat. It is clear that Pristina will try to use all available levers to make normal life impossible in the four municipalities north of the Ibar and will continue to provoke and harass the Serbs in the province under the guise of establishing some kind of false legality," the statement said.
The Office for Kosovo and Metohija indicates that the only task of Atic and other imposed mayors in the north of Kosovo is to block life in every way and to force the Serbs to leave those areas.
They say that it is therefore necessary for international civil and military representatives in Kosovo to put an end to Albin Kurti's reign of terror.
"Exactly the abuses and acts of violence by Kurti's Gauleiters are the crowning proof that without the formation of the Community of Serb-majority Municipalities, there will be no survival for the Serbs, or hope for any kind of dignified life in Kosovo and Metohija. The intention of occupying the north of Kosovo and Metohija is not a metaphor, but a harsh reality, and no people or social group in modern Europe should be exposed to this kind of torture and manifestations of undisguised chauvinism," the statement of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija says.
They also say that the Serbs in the north of Kosovo are restrained and patient because they know very well that the occupation of Kurti's thugs has an end, and the municipalities with a Serbian majority will continue to develop with the selfless help and support of Serbia and its citizens.
After Atic's decision last week prohibited the construction of apartments for socially vulnerable families, schools for children from vulnerable categories, and the University of Pristina building with headquarters in Mitrovica, municipal inspectors today suspended the continuation of work on another residential building in that city.
