Office for Kosovo and Metohija: Kurti wants to arrest all Serbs and break the peaceful resistance to Pristina's terror

The Office for Kosovo and Metohija announced that today's arrest of Serbian citizen Nenad O. from Kosovska Mitrovica was not coincidentally timed for the morning after the dialogue in Brussels, and it clearly shows that Albin Kurti does not want to ease tensions in northern Kosovo and Metohija, he does not want de-escalation, but instead seeks new crises and tensions on the ground.
"Members of Kurti's special police arrested Serbian citizen Nenad O. from Kosovska Mitroica today, just a day after the dialogue in Brussels, which Kurti is actively sabotaging. This is despite the messages from the High Representative for Foreign Affairs, Josep Borrell, that Pristina must stop the unfounded and arbitrary arrests," the statement from the Office for Kosovo and Metohija reads.
They emphasize that Nenad, an employee of a utility company in Kosovska Mitrovica and a father of four children, was "arrested this morning when ROSU members surrounded him at a car wash, with their automatic weapons aimed at him."
As they stated, Nenad will be provided with a lawyer and legal assistance through the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, and representatives of the international community have been immediately informed about the new arrest.
"Nenad is the eighth Serb who has been arrested since the outbreak of the crisis in northern Kosovo and Metohija, by which Kurti and his violence squads want to break the resistance of the peaceful Serbian people in Kosovo and Metohija and label them as criminals simply because they peacefully and nonviolently resist Pristina's terror. It is evident that Kurti does not want dialogue or peace, but wants to arrest all Serbs and provoke conflicts, setting not only Kosovo and Metohija on fire but the entire region," the statement from the Office for Kosovo and Metohija emphasized.
