The Office for Kosovo and Metohija: New violent action by Kurti; after the dinar ban, he wants to leave the Serbs without essential medications
Authorities in Pristina, led by Albin Kurti, conducted a new violent action today in northern Kosovo and Metohija, raiding pharmacies in Kosovska Mitrovica and Zvecan, the Office for Kosovo and Metohija stated.
"After causing a humanitarian catastrophe by banning the dinar and dinar payment transactions in Kosovo and Metohija, Kurti now wants to leave our people in northern Kosovo and Metohija without essential medications, thereby creating intolerable living conditions for our people, as he did in the previous two years by preventing our hospitals from being supplied with medicines," the statement emphasizes.
It is added that a significant quantity of medications was confiscated during the raids on pharmacies, further obstructing the already difficult supply and accessibility of medicines in northern Kosovo and Metohija, a problem affecting all segments of the population in northern Kosovo and Metohija.
"While Kurti's party candidates engage in human trafficking, narcotics, and other serious criminal activities, Kurti himself, to cover up his misdeeds, conducts a hunt for medicines and at the same time for nine months prevents the entry of Serbian goods into the territory of Kosovo and Metohija," the Office states.
They emphasize that this is another indicator that instead of de-escalation, Kurti initiates new escalatory moves in northern Kosovo and Metohija daily, especially to make life impossible for the Serbs and force them to leave their ancestral homes by abolishing basic means of livelihood, from the dinar to medicines and basic necessities.
