Orlic: When it comes to Kosovo and Metohija, we have to keep a cool head
The President of the National Assembly, Vladimir Orlic, stated that when it comes to Kosovo, it is important to understand that Serbia is on its own, with no one else sharing its pain, and that everyone else primarily looks after their own interests, as reported by RTV.
"People need to be clear on how states function - someone will be a friend, someone will show understanding, and others won't do either, but everyone will primarily ask themselves - what is my interest in this? We are the ones who have to fight as we know and can. We cannot expect justice because it doesn't exist. There is no justice in the world. When it comes to the issue of Kosovo and Metohija, it is primarily a matter of power," Orlic said.
The President of the National Assembly emphasizes that Serbia cannot dictate to the powerful and influential.
"We have to keep a cool head, not allow ourselves to be carried away by fire and sometimes react in the way that would come most naturally to any person - to vent and say what is on the tip of their tongue. We know that we cannot afford certain things. They know it too, don't think they don't. When they hear the message from the Serbian Army that it is ready to fully carry out the orders received from the Supreme Commander, everyone knows what that means," Orlic stated.
As he added, the Serbian people in Kosovo have their Serbia, their state, and their president on their side.
