Osmani scheduled extraordinary elections for the Zvecan and Leposavic municipal assemblies for December 25

The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has set the date for the extraordinary local elections for the Zvecan and Leposavic municipal assemblies, Gazeta Express reported.

In the announcement of the Kosovo presidency, it was stated that Osmani set December 25 as the date of the elections, after consultations with political parties.

Osmani invited political subjects to a peaceful campaign and asked them to honor the Election Law and political rivals, without tensions.

She had previously scheduled the elections for the mayors of four municipalities in the north of Kosovo for November 18.

The elections will be held after Kosovo Serb representatives left the institutions in four municipalities in northern Kosovo.
