Pavkovic: The University will be the next target of the Pristina government

Milos Pavkovic, an associate at the Center for European Policy, told Kosovo Online that Kosovo's Prime Minister Albin Kurti will not stop with unilateral actions and that the next target of his government will be the University of Pristina, temporarily located in Kosovska Mitrovica.

He states that Kurti is taking full advantage of the current vacuum in Brussels and the fact that a new European Commission and administration have not yet been appointed, which leads him to believe that such actions will continue.

"So far, there are no indications that Kurti will stop. This campaign of unilateral actions began with the ban on the dinar, followed by the closure of the Postal Savings Bank and post offices, and has now continued with the intrusion into Provisional Authorities, the hospital in Mitrovica, and some cultural institutions. The only remaining potential targets are education and healthcare in Kosovo and Metohija. I believe the next target will be the University of Pristina, temporarily seated in Kosovska Mitrovica. It is a thorn in the side of the government in Pristina, and it will be the next target on their list," Pavkovic said.
