The joint task is to protect the Serbian people in Kosovo, as concluded today at a meeting between the Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Petar Petkovic, and Serbia's Foreign Minister, Marko Djuric, with representatives of Serbs from Kosovo.

Petkovic met today with political and institutional representatives of the Serbian community from Kosovo, ahead of tomorrow's First All-Serbian Assembly in Belgrade. The meeting was also attended by the head of Serbian diplomacy, Marko Djuric. According to reports, Petkovic and the former director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Djuric, discussed the political and security situation in Kosovo with the Serbs from the region, focusing on the daily unilateral and violent actions carried out by Albin Kurti in front of the international community.

The Serbian representatives from Kosovo informed Director Petkovic and Minister Djuric about all the challenges and problems faced by the Serbian community, but also expressed their unwavering determination to stay and survive on their ancestral lands.

"The strength of Serbian unity has always been and will continue to be the strongest bulwark and the loudest response to all those who think they can extinguish the spark of Serbian existence and the Serbian name and surname in Kosovo and Metohija, as well as everywhere the Serbian people live. Our most important task today is to protect the Serbian people in Kosovo and Metohija, and we have the strong support and commitment of our state, Serbia, and President Aleksandar Vucic," was the joint conclusion after the meeting.

Djuric: All Diplomatic-Consular Representations will be Offices for Kosovo and Metohija

"We will put all the capacities of our diplomacy in the service of the fight to protect Serbian interests in Kosovo and Metohija," Minister Djuric stated on the social network "X."

"Every one of our diplomatic-consular representations will be turned into a sort of small Office for Kosovo and Metohija because everyone must be aware of what is happening and what our people in Kosovo face daily. The joint conclusion we reached today is that the strength of Serbian unity has always been and will continue to be the strongest bulwark and the loudest response to all those who think they can extinguish the spark of Serbian existence and the Serbian name and surname in Kosovo and Metohija, as well as everywhere the Serbian people live," he emphasized.
