Petkovic: Congresswoman Tenney is the voice of reason; peace in Kosovo and Metohija can only be preserved through dialogue

Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Petar Petkovic, stated today that Congresswoman Tenney was the voice of reason and, unlike others, she saw the obvious.

Petkovic emphasized that challenging times required strong and rational politicians.

"Congresswoman Tenney is the voice of reason, and unlike others, she sees the obvious. It is impossible to support peace by initiating an arms race. Peace in Kosovo and Metohija can only be preserved through dialogue and compromise, not by arming war instigators", Petkovic wrote on the X social network.

Let’s recall that US Congresswoman Claudia Tenney, chair of the Serbian Caucus, stated a few days ago that the State Department's agreement to send "Javelin" missiles to Kosovo was "incredibly inflammatory", especially given the increased tensions in the Western Balkans, pointing out that this decision only added fuel to the fire and increases the likelihood of a new conflict.
