Petkovic: Kurti is scared of Serbian unity - he knows he can't defeat the Serb List, so he wants to ban it
The Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Petar Petkovic, stated that Albin Kurti's attempt to unlawfully ban the Serb List from participating in the upcoming elections is the best indicator of how much Pristina "and its followers" are afraid of Serbian unity and harmony, as well as the strength of the Serb List candidates.
"Authorities in Pristina well know that they cannot defeat the Serb List, so they want to ban it. Kurti is convinced that the Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija trust only him and vote only for him, and that there is no amount of money, coercion, or force that can make anyone support his protégés who raise their hands as he conducts," Petkovic emphasized in a statement.
Therefore, Petkovic is convinced, Kurti has begun an attempt to eliminate the Serb List, but, he notes, it will not succeed, just as he will not be able to "install his followers" in parliamentary seats.
Petkovic also noted that what President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic predicted after the sabotage on the Ibar-Lepenac canal has come true, that Kurti would try to ban the Serb List in order to leave the Serbian people in Kosovo without protection.
"We have informed the entire international community about this new violence and unlawful actions by Pristina and expect their adequate and uncompromising response," Petkovic declared.
