Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Petar Petkovic, stated today that Nenad Rasic, the Minister for Communities and Returns in Albin Kurti's government, was trying in every possible way to render the Community of Serb Municipalities meaningless.

Petkovic shared his message on the social network "X".

"Kurti's minister Rasic is trying in every possible way to render the CSM meaningless, at the behest of his boss, and he understands nothing about the dialogue! He who said that the CSM was an association of sparrows is the last one who can comment on the Community," Petkovic wrote.

He added that the CSM was crucial for all Serbs in Kosovo.

"By the agreements from 2013 and 2015, the continuation of the functioning of all Serbian institutions is envisaged, which, unlike the current situation, will be protected under the umbrella of the CSM. Kurti's minister continues to make up stories because that's all he knows!" the Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija emphasized.

He also conveyed Rasic's statement, in which the minister wrote that "the moment the CSM is adopted, Serbian institutions will be shut down."
