Petkovic: Pristina's threats of war in the Balkans should raise a red alarm in the West

Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Petar Petkovic, assessed that Pristina continued with warlike rhetoric and the invocation of conflict while the international community remained silent, adding that this was not the path to de-escalation and the normalization of relations, adding that Pristina's threats of war in the Balkans should "raise a red alarm in the West".

"Pristina continues with warlike rhetoric and the invocation of conflict while the international community remains silent. They have not mentioned dialogue once in their PR, but not a day goes by without them talking about war while their criminal police mistreat the Serbs! Coincidence? I wouldn't say so," Petkovic stated on the social network "X".

He was responding to the statement of the President of the Kosovo Parliament, Glauk Konjufca, who mentioned the risk of a new war erupting in the Balkans after the events in Banjska, emphasizing that such rhetoric was not the path to normalization.

"This is not the path to de-escalation or normalization of relations, and Pristina's threats of war in the Balkans should raise a red alarm in the West, no matter how much they support their child," Petkovic emphasized.
