Petkovic: Svecla criminalizes Serbs without evidence while hugging drug dealers from Self-Determination

Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija of the Government of Serbia, Petar Petkovic, commented on a photo that appeared on social media, showing the Kosovo Minister of Internal Affairs, Xhelal Svecla, hugging Besnik Mujeci, a Self-Determination Movement councilor from Pristina who was arrested today under suspicion of participating in drug trafficking. Petkovic stated that it was clear what kind of influence Svecla had been under when conducting actions against Serbs.

"While Xhelal Svecla baselessly criminalizes Serbs in northern Kosovo and Metohija in every way, he secretly embraces drug dealers from Self-Determination! Now it's much clearer what kind of influence he was under when conducting actions against Serbs and the Serb List, and when inspecting EULEX vehicles," he wrote.

Albanian Police arrested a member of the Self-Determination Movement and a councilor of that party in the Assembly of Pristina, Besnik Mujeci, under suspicion of participating in drug trafficking valued at nearly half a million euros in Albania.
