President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic, in front of the entire world at a UN Security Council session, demonstrated how to uncompromisingly, truthfully, principledly, and argumentatively defend the interests of our sole and proud Serbia and the suffering Serbian people in Kosovo and Metohija, as well as the principles of international law and the UN charter, highlighted Petar Petkovic, director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija.

He emphasized that, at the same time, the president wisely opposed the performance and farce attempted by Vjosa Osmani, who did not speak a word about the reporting period, thus trying to escape from the topic of the terror to which the Serbian people in Kosovo are constantly exposed.

"As much as Pristina and part of the Western world try to divert attention from the suffering of the Serbian people in Kosovo and Metohija, to hide the truth about Kurti’s tyranny which creates unbearable conditions for the survival of the Serbian people on their ancestral hearths, aiming for their final ethnic cleansing, President Vucic defeated them with the strength of arguments and confronted them with the undeniable truth about the suffering of the peaceful Serbian people in the heart of Europe, in the 21st century. To the Western hypocrisy and policy of double standards, false guarantees, and unfulfilled agreements from the Dialogue, Vucic today opposed with the steel strength of truth," Petkovic emphasized.

He added that the truth is that Serbs in Kosovo are victims of Kurti’s chauvinistic policy and that we are witnessing the systematic persecution of the Serbian people who simply want to exist peacefully on their own land.

"Their resounding voice today was President Vucic who did not forget Srecko Sofronijevic, the Stojanovic brothers, the treacherously slain harvesters, the murder of Serbian children in Goraždevac, the Pogrom, destroyed Serbian holy sites, burned houses…" emphasized the director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija.

He noted that Serbia has had few leaders in history who were ready to sacrifice their future and both political and personal destiny to protect their own people.

"With today’s speech, Aleksandar Vucic has inscribed himself in the historical book of leaders, and the strength of his visionary messages that he presented, which many today do not see clearly blinded by the advocacy of Pristina, will be revealed in the time to come," concluded Petkovic.
