Power: The US advocates for the implementation of the agreement and the immediate CSM formation 

Director of the American Agency for International Development (USAID), Samantha Power, pointed out that the administration of US President Joe Biden is committed to the implementation of all agreements reached in the dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia, and that the formation of the Community of Serbian Municipalities is urgently needed, reports Gazeta Express.

At a joint conference with Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, Power conveyed the messages of the Biden administration about the dialogue with Serbia and the recently reached agreement in Ohrid.

As she stated, during the extensive conversation with Kurti, she emphasized the urgency of forming the CSM and implementing the agreement.

"As a representative of the Biden administration, I came to Kosovo to repeat the message that the Biden administration said about the importance of implementing the agreement, which will lead to normalization, and which will be extremely important for Kosovo and Serbia. Normalization will also be useful for business," said Power.

She expressed the hope that both sides, with concrete proposals, will move to the next stages of the dialogue.

"On behalf of the USA and Biden, I want to say once again that it is urgently necessary to move forward with the implementation of the agreement, and I would emphasize the importance of the talks mediated by Lajcak. Through Chollet and Escobar, we made it clear what our principles are, and I believe that these conditions must be respected in every association," said Power.
