Provocation in Davos: Near the hotel where Vucic will be staying, the flags of Greater Albania and Kosovo are hung
In the Swiss city of Davos, where the World Economic Forum started yesterday, where Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic confirmed his participation, this morning the flags of Great Albania and Kosovo were hung, Novosti reports.
The flags are hung across the hotel where Vucic is supposed to stay.
The President of Serbia is participating in the World Economic Forum from today until January 19.
Vucic would have numerous bilateral meetings with world officials, and meetings with representatives of international organizations, financial institutions, and leading global companies participating in the World Economic Forum were also planned, the press service of the president announced.
He will also attend a series of gatherings of world leaders, including a session on "Diplomatic Dialogue on the Western Balkans".
Kurti along with a footnote
As announced, the World Economic Forum in Davos would also be attended by Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, whose presence would be marked with a footnote next to the name of Kosovo.
In the footnote next to the name of Kosovo in the official list of participants of the World Economic Forum, there is an explanation:
"This determination does not prejudge positions on status and is in accordance with Resolution 1244 (1999) of the United Nations Security Council and the opinion of the International Court of Justice on the declaration of Kosovo's independence."
