The president of the Serb List, Goran Rakic, said that tensions in the north of Kosovo were still present among the citizens and that due to the complexity of the situation, a Crisis Staff was formed to report on the situation on the ground.

Rakic, who participated in the show "Hit Tweet" on TV Pink, said that it was calm at the barricade in Rudar, but also that there were more citizens arriving at the barricade.

"After Kurti's statements today, he only started a fire and scared our citizens who do not want to fall for his provocations. We want peace and nothing else, to save our families. Pristina is conducting various actions to cause tensions," Rakic said.

Rakic called on the citizens to be calm but also vigilant, and not to fall for provocations, because, as he added, Pristina's goal is to provoke a reaction from the Serbs in order to blame them for being a "destructive and disruptive factor."

He also called on citizens to treat KFOR and EULEX with respect, as their presence was in accordance with Resolution 1244 of the UN Security Council.

"I am asking the citizens to meet KFOR and EULEX if they need our help. There is a great fear here that someone will cause incidents and then accuse us. We are committed to peace and here we are defending ourselves, because we want to stay, and we are fighting for peace and reason, and I'm not sure that the opposite side in Pristina has any sense either," Rakic said.
